GOVERNANCE
We held our Annual Meeting last week and introduced our 2026 Board of Directors in an email from our new President, Tom Hopkins. If you missed the announcement, please click here.
GOLF
This week’s Stag Guest Day (12/17/25) has over 120 requests to play. To accommodate the field, all golf carts will be reserved for the event. As a result, carts will not be available for open play on Wednesday morning, and walking members must clear the course by 11:00 a.m. for the 11:45 a.m. shotgun.

Upcoming Golf Events
News for this week:
This week’s Stag Guest Day (12/17/25) has received the largest response of the year, with more than 120 requests to play. To accommodate the field, the entire golf cart fleet will be required for the event and, as a result, carts will not be available for open play on Wednesday morning (Walking Members will need to be off the course by 11:00am to accommodate the 11:45 am Shot Gun).
Thank you for your understanding as we manage this positive and encouraging level of participation.

Golf Shop Holiday News:
We’re excited to launch a new holiday tradition at La Cumbre: the Golf Shop Holiday Raffle.
Members can purchase raffle squares in the Golf Shop or through the survey link here. Winning squares will be drawn on Christmas Eve, with all entry fees returned as prizes from your Golf Shop.

Holiday Court Cancellation Reminder
As we head into the holiday season, all members must adhere to our court cancellation policy to ensure fair access for everyone.
No-Shows and Cancellations Policy
- Cancellations:
- All reservations must be canceled at least 2 hours before the start time. The first offense will receive a warning.
- Late Cancellations:
- After the initial warning, late cancellations will incur a $15 fee.
- No-Shows:
- First offense: warning
- Second offense: $25 no-show fee
- Third offense: loss of booking privileges through the end of 2024
Court 6 / Facilities Update
Due to the heavy fog, the back pickleball court on Court 6 (Court 2) is currently not playable. The lines have not had enough sun and airflow to fully dry. We are hopeful that conditions improve and allow the paint lines to set this week. Please keep this in mind when booking Pickleball Court 2. We will send an update as soon as it becomes playable.

Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are available by arrangement, Monday through Saturday.

If you want a workout, let us know. Please share lanes for lap swimming if it’s crowded.

Holiday Hours
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: The Fitness Center will close at 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will remain closed for the entirety of Christmas Day.
- Regular hours on the 26th and check the app for the modified group class schedule that day!
- New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day: Regular hours of operation.
- In the new year, we will be offering SoftWave Shockwave Therapy as a new service. Stay tuned for details on that and how to book online or through the app!
